ST2800 from ST Electronics for emergencies

SuperneT Integrated Communication System ST2800 (also known as ICS ST2800), is an integrated communication solution for emergency services, public safety and mission critical command and control organisation. The system has been awarded four international patents.

SuperneT Emergency Integrated Communication System (EICS) ST2800 addresses operational needs for integration of disparate systems to deliver a complete suite of voice, data and multimedia services to fixed and mobile user terminals. EICS facilitates inter-operability between different agencies to achieve closer co-ordination and faster response during disasters. It also enables inter-connectivity between remote command centres to share resources and information.

Based on VoIP and RoIP technologies, EICS is scalable and expandable to extend its services remotely over the network. As EICS adopts open standard interfaces and protocols, it facilitates integration of various COTS devices and application specific communication systems that includes digital/analogue trunk and conventional radio systems (e.g. 911/999 emergency telephony system), GSM/3G cellular systems, messaging systems, video conferencing and streaming systems.
